Candles

I am a hobby photographer and this is my first real achievement with this great program. It is based on a close-up photo of 3 candles and meant as a Xmas/new year wishes card for my friends. It is almost impossible for me to describe how I created the image, but basically I first turned the photo (a bit boring, but with nice colours) in an almost abstract set of paint blobs and then I used several edges-enhancing paint patches to bring some detail back. Studio Artist is a delicious, addictive program that allows me to work intuitively towards a not-yet-clearly defined end result
